His little rainbow had been shy, but even more so after the trip she's made with her mother to the sea. In retrospect, he should have gone with them of course, but Enfys had liked some time alone with her daughter which of course he had agreed upon. What could possibly go wrong?

Well... a lot, apparently. Now Iiris had been avoiding even the lake or that part of the den that held water. She could live with it if course, but Ahti worried she'd never enjoy the wonders of the liquid or for that matter, the flow of the water magic, the beauty of snowflake crystals, or walk on ice... even if she did not want to swim, that was just no way to live.

So one day he decided that this was something he needed to teach her, and he poked his head inside the pups' sleeping area to see if his daughter was still there this morning or if she'd ventured out and he'd go and look for her.
