Looking at the red and white female, she stood up and closed the distance, nudged her shoulder. "Don't give up. There is a reason for everything. I was torn out not because I needed to get away from there, but because I am needed here. It took me a while, but I see that now. Don't go harsh on yourself. It is never good to stack up all your feelings like that."

Rem nodded vaguely listening with her ears but her mind couldn't seem to comprehend the words. "As I said I will get over it" rem quickly tried to change the subject "so why were you needed here?" She asked pretending to be cheerful. "What could this place possibly need help with?"

Aamu looked disappointed at her reaction, or rather, the lack of it. She did know how it was like to get tossed out all of a sudden, but Rem didn't seem to want any help. Not from her, anyway. Instead, she changed the subject unto herself. She'd been lookingto make a friend but if Rem wouldn't open up a bit, she wasn't sure if they could be. That was a shame, because if her friend Trangl was friends with Rem, then Aamu should befriend Rem too, right?

So she sat there silently, not responding for a moment, looking at Rem's face in disappointed puzzlement. What could she ever say or do to placate this female? Could she not see that she needed help, and that Aamu had found it her purpose in life to offer just that? Of course, Rem wasn't by far the only reason she felt she was needed in Sverige rather than Suomí, as her pack had needed her, and even being around when the humans fell into the city was just one of those things. But for a wolf who wouldn't listen, Aamu wouldn't go start talking that much.

"Is something wrong?" Rem asked sounding cheerful "if you need to think about why you are needed here I can wait" she said sounding cheerful and looking cheerful in all aspects but her blue eyes which were... Empty. Rem perched up her ears as she smelled the odious smell again and wrinkled her nose "what is that smell?"

The red dynroth was by far too frenetic, Aamu could see. "You're faking, that's what's wrong. It's okay to be sad, but this... it's not real and you know it." Her tone had gotten harder. She would not tolerate such fake behaviour much longer, and might just leave on the spot there and then. Maybe pressing the facts into her face would accomplish something.

It was when Rem said something about smells, she started looking around. She hadn't noticed it before, but now something odious came towards her senses. "I don't know." was her short reply, not happy about the change of subject but it could be dangerous so it had priority nonetheless.

The smell was familiar and a memory of a shadow popped up in her head again. It was the smell she encountered while she was with Trangl yesterday. Rem went towards what she believed to be the source of the smell quietly and cautiously. Memories popped up reminding her of her brother running away and her chasing him... She never found out what he was running from and she hadn't thought about it since she was brought to this world... What had he been running from? Was it some sort of game? But then she remembered the screams she and her brother heard from the dens that they had gone to investigate...

Rem did not seem to notice her anymore. "Are you sure it's safe?" she asked when the red dynroth started stalking towards the scent. Nevertheless, she followed because there was nothing else she could do.

Rem pushed her head between the grass and saw A HUGE dung heap. Rem gagged and walked away from it trying to breathe in clean air. The smell was horrible and it was just splattered everywhere making her want to puke. She basically dove 5 ft away from the pile. Annoyed she stood up and made a disgusted and indignant noise showing her immense disapproval "what the actual penguin slippers?" She growled

Aamu had started using a steady flow of air to keep herself from smelling - whatever it was. Coming to the scene, Rem immediately flung herself a good distance away. Understandable considering their findings. The orange dynroth did not spend any more time with the dunk and followed quickly. "What was that all about?" Nobody in their right mind would have followed such a scent. Unless... "Did that trigger a memory?" she wanted to know.

Rem was silent... She was deep in thought. Why had that reminded her of her painful last moments with her family? Why had she forgotten all that stuff previously? Did the portal make her forget and if so why? Why was her brother so scared and why did she hear those yowls of pain? So many questions and almost no answers... Why was she here when she could have been more help back home with her pack? Rem shivers nervously not liking the whole scenario at all
