Aamu was a bit restless today. Yesterday, she'd made a new friend and had brought him in here, but she had not found the time to ask anyone about it. She did not really think that anyone would find it a problem, but still. Uneasiness was quite the word.

She walked from her den to the tunnel openings, to see who was up already. Should she howl for them? Probably, yes. She sighed. They could never just happen to be around already, could they? However, it was early morning so at least Czestochowa and probably Juryoku was still sleeping or sleepy. She wasn't too sure about her rock friend. Shiloh had been talking about visiting a pack in the north, Alfheimr, and he seemed to be readying for that journey. Well, as long as Freyja would be okay with it she guesses.

So, after some doubtful thinking things over by the tunnel opening, she howled for her Alpha. She hadn't smelled Czest's fresh scent yet, only the old one from yesterday so he was probably where she'd left him in the unused den.

The Alpha of Divum was fairly much always within howl range. Though in the past she might have explored more, she had not for some time due to the smallness of their pack. As well, in the winter, there wasn't much that was worth really flying about to see, so she preferred to stay in her home. So when she heard Aamu's howl, she allowed herself to gently descend to land in front of the orange wolf, bowing to her as her paws hit the ground. <b>"Aamu. What would you require of me on this day?"</b> Freyja barked gently in her musical tones. Folding her wings over her back she waited patiently for the answer.

The Ubelli woke with a start and hit his head on the top of the den from his outburst. He rubbed his head as he tried to calm down remembering he was in the den Aamu had told him to be and that he should not be in any kind of trouble, he hoped. he figured that was his que to come out and, greet the others like Aamu had said he would need to. He walked quietly in the direction of the howl. His emerald green eyes scanning the area around him for the orange female. He sniffed the unfamiliar ground and scents until he came across her's and followed it until he could see her.

He cautiously padded up to them with a soft bark to let them know he was there and meant no harm. He was still fairly far away but lowered his head and ears as to show he would not try and attack. He was very cautious in his approach and hoped that he was right in doing so. It was after all impolite and against wolf law to just show up in a pack's territory with out permission. "Please forgive me, I mean no harm. My name is Czestochowa, I am a friend of Aamu's. I apologize for showing up so abruptly and with out warning. It was in our best intentions to wait until day to meet you for it was very late when we arrived." He spoke softly despite his efforts to sound confident. It had already taken all the courage he could muster up to come and meet them. He was in the territory of a pack that knew nothing of his being here in the first place. He perked his ears and flattened them again as he looked up at the blue female standing before him near Aamu.

OOC: I don't want to exclude anyone and shy and jury are still welcome to join in if they want to but it seemed I owed an answer here

As Aamu opened her mouth to answer, her new friend's smell came drifting forward, forebading his coming. Oh well. He introduced himself quite nicely after that, so she nodded and added: "Yesterday I met him in the city, on his own, so I asked him if he wanted to visit as it was freezing cold out there. But since he cannot fly with the use of air we had to walk the way back and we came here somewhere in the middle of the night. I hope it is alright for him to stay. He helped me catch some bird, too, so I figured he can fend for his own food." she knew they had no real big pile of stock when it came to food, as that was why Freyja had asked her to catch her own when she had only been visiting in the first few days before joining the pack officially. Being their only hunter she knew exactly how much was there, and she figured if Czest would help her catch some he could stay. After all, Jury often still caught his own fish (something Aamu had never been terribly good at) and Shy ate the rocks below.

She was surprised that, instead of Aamu's answer, another wolf approached and spoke to her instead. She smiled at this new wolf, having known that there had been a visitor, and surprised that said visitor was confident enough to approach. That was a good thing, surely this wolf was a kindly spirit for Aamu to have befriended him. <b>"Valkryi's blessings upon you this day Czestochowa, it is well to meet you. Any friend of Aamu's is a friend of mine and the packs, I am sure. You may call me Freyja, I am Alpha of this pack."</b> She gave a polite bow before turning her attention back to Aamu. It was clear from her posture and gaze that she did not mind this, not at all, it was good to have friends, and even better to allow them to rest somewhere safe for the night. Divum was a pack of peace.

<b>"He is welcome to stay as long as he needs, provided he is fine with helping in the hunt for his own food. After all, I do not believe that those stone ruins are very safe. It is much better out here, away from the strange smells and dwellings leftover from another time."</b> Freyja shook her head slightly at that. She distrusted the city, and had for quite some time, even though it was a very interesting place, she felt that it could also be dangerous.

Czestochowa perked his ears and kept them up now. She was very nice as well. Why were wolves being so nice to him? Was it because of Aamu? He stood up and properly came closer to sit more nearer to try and follow the conversation. He nodded and added. "Thank you Freyja" He nodded in agreement again it was a nice thing to say although he had no clue who Valkryi was. Aamu didn't mention who that was. He did not mind hunting, it wasn't his favorite but he did believe in being productive for oneself and others if need be. He did not fear work, interacting with others on the other paw, was an entirely different story. But perhaps this was a step in the right direction? He can't hide and avoid others all his life. He wanted to help. Like he wanted to help that pup in the woods. It just didn't seem to want help from him.

He returned his attention to what Freyja was saying. He didn't care much for where he was in that awful mess, he was there in the dirty city by chance and perhaps misfortune. But his luck spun when that orange female found him again. Now he was here, meeting nice new wolves and he had actually felt happy for once. It seemed like Aamu had given him good luck? What ever the case he was greatful. He continued to listen to the conversation not speaking again unless he was spoken to.

Aamu looked relieved, even if she had been quite sure that Freyja would understand why she hadn't introduced him upon arrival. It had just seemed... not the right way. Surely Freyja was nice enough that she didn't mind, but then again rules where there to be followed for a reason. Czestochowa did not seem to react much further, which was a pity but understandable considering what she knew about his past. He actually looked genuinly surprised at the kindness her Alpha displayed. Aamu smiled at that. She had told him that her packmates were nice, but she guessed it might have been hard for him to believe that everywolf in one place could be nice.

She returned her gaze to the lilac female as she spoke again. Aamu already knew how Freyja thought about the humans and their old city, even though she visited it every once in a while to check on things. As for herself, she had lived there for months not finding anything much dangerous but the events in the science facility - well at least when it had still been standing. The fact that there was now a big hole unnerved her only a bit, but she got used to the hole quickly and having wings to fly over it did have it's privileges. She still liked going back there every now and then, and sometimes brought back interesting objects from the old human world, collecting them as if that could tell her about their culture or how they lived. But at Freyja's display of distrust towards the humans, she only nodded. She knew that she could never convince anyone that it was not dangerous. It was, in fact. Aamu was just too curious to fully let it go.

She smiled at the new friend of Aamu's and gave another nod. Freyja had no issue welcoming others to the pack, and it was clear that this ubeli was one of gracious mannerisms and kindness. She would have hoped so much as one of Aamu's friends. <b>"Please, if you need anything, do not be afraid to ask. You will find that I merely wish peace and good fortune upon all whom enter here. Do either of you need anything in particular at the moment . . . information, help with something?"</b> It was interesting that they both were so quiet, but perhaps that was just their manners presenting themselves in a good light. It had been some time since Divum had been party to much activity so she welcomed this.

The brown and tan Ubelli tried to relax a bit more because he still felt tense, but Freyja's words were reassuring to him. If the leader of this pack is so nice it is nearly impossible to think that any others here could even possibly be any less kind. It was still shocking to him but, lately things like this were becoming common so there was really no need to be so supried. Still though, he could not believe his good fortune wolves were talking to him and welcoming him. Something he was not used to, but he was very grateful either way.

He returned his attention to Freyja asking them a question. Did he have any questions for her? Why, yes he did. He did have a question, he opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. He almost wanted to ask if he could become a member here, he liked these wolves even if he could hardly admit it to himself. But no maybe it was too early to ask, besides his mouth probably would not let him say it. Maybe a different question, he had already opened his mouth and needed to speak before causing things to be awkward.

"I.. Uh..." he choked on his words and flattened his ears looking away for a second as he took a deep breath and exhaled. "Would it be okay if I could h-help with anything at the moment?" That was not exactly the right question but he did want to help with something instead of just sitting around all day. He lowered his head but perked his ears again then slowly raised his head again.

Her new friend looked completely baffled by Freyja's kindness. Aamu felt sorry for him, never to have met any nice wolves in his life. Then again, outside her old pack she'd never really met much others until the portal drew her in. But her pack had been quite big, not only her family but also several loners had joined so there must have been a dozen wolves living in one place so that provided for enough social contact and at the same time demanded that they held a large territory and defended it well. That was different from Divum, but Divum was the pack that needed her more than her old pack.

Slowly, stammering, he asked what he could help with for now. As Aamu had no idea if the tunnels or walls would need any immediate attention with Shiloh being away visiting the world, she let that open for now. As for herself, with the latest catches she could go exploring or hunting but it wasn't very nessecary at the moment. Well, it was always nessecary since it was winter and food was on short supply still, because she couldn't always catch a lot of things. But it wouldn't be a problem if she didn't bring anything home today. Instead, she might as well go look for some healing plants. That was, if she knew what to look for. "I think the food supply will hold for another day or so. I might want to go look for some healing plants, or edible roots and berries, instead. But I don't know what a healing plant should look like exactly. Is there anything specific I could go find for you?" she asked. If anyone knew about that, it must be Freyja. She wasn't sure if there was a short supply of healing plants, but she hadn't found anything much in the storage room. Then again there might be a den filled with them somewhere. Still, every season had other plants to gather. Surely there must be something? If not, she could always go back to hunting snow hares but she was longing for something else to do by now. Plus, always eating hare and rabbit wasn't going to do her much good anyway. Maybe in spring they could go on a pack hunt for deer, but the deer weren't exactly fat in the middle of winter so that wasn't the best idea for right now.
