Dazzled by the many vague symbols in the book, Aamu closed it before she got really dizzy, and blinked. Then, she noticed Trangl sniffing into a heap of trash. She wondered if he had seen or smelled anything, for why was he suddenly digging right there?

Curious now, she walked up to her white friend. The answer revealed itself quickly enough when he managed to get out what he wanted. "It's... fur?" she approached the thing and sniffed it. No smells whatsoever to help her decide what kind of animal it once had been. The structure didn't really tell her anything else either, although the pattern seemed somewhat deer-like. She shrugged. It probably was deer, then. If Trangl found it interesting for some reason, then so be it. Personally, she had the idea that it was just a decoration and she'd been much more interested in the book, even if she couldn't read it. She still wondered about what the symbols were all for. They had to mean something, didn't they?

Still, Trangl seemed to love the thing for some reason and kept it close. Aamu grinned. "Well if you want it, then you should take it." she said. It was something lost by the humans, and since there were only a few humans ever still around, she thought they wouldn't need anything they found in the ruins or they would have taken it. That left everything else to be claimed by the one who found it, like she and Trangl. No restitution needed.

Trangl nodded with a smile. "Yes, im sure it's some kind of large deer or elk. Because, well look at it! Its huge! And something about it is, familiar... I can't put my paw on it but it just feels weird. I like it and I think I will bring it back with me to put in my den." he nodded as if to reconfirm in his head as he visioned where he wanted to put it. He then remembered he had forgotten again to use his air skills to get all the loose dirtbhe had dug out of the cave. But now he probably won't need to and he can just use his earth magic so he can practice more.

Trangl began to walk back to where Aamu found the smelly rectangular thingy. "So, you bringing this back to your pack? I think they might also find it interesting, you should. But be careful, I noticed having too many together can make you sick." he warned. He turned to face her and waited for her to speak. Was she done or did she want to keep looking around?

Aamu was ambivalent. She wanted to take the book, really, but she knew she couldn't carry it all the way. Besides, Trangl said there were lots of them in one particular place. So she would surely find some more if she went looking, even if she didn't go back down the hole again. So after a moment of hesitation, she shook her head. "No, I think we should get out. Besides, if there are more, I'll find them some other day." With that, she want back to the surface of the structure, and looked up against the sky. It was cooling down, so it was already late afternoon. She turned to watch Trangl. "We should get back anyway. It's getting late." she warned. "Do you need help getting up?"

Trangl followed her out after giving her a understanding nod. As they made their way to the surface again he too looked up at the sky. It was getting late and they would be best to get home. He sneezed from all the dust and then the bright light of the sky hitting his sensitive eyes after being in a darker environment. After his recovery sniffle he replied. "Hmm, maybe just a bit. We can try the way you do it, but I will use my air skill too so it won't be so hard on you. My air skill is pretty good compared to when I first discovered I had it when I returned from my lesson with you. Thanks again for that Aamu. It opened a whole new world to me." he said happily.

He spread his wings in preparation to take off on her que. So once she pushed the both of them to take off he too would use his air skill to help some since she was pushing the two of them not just her. Trangl reminded himself to keep his wings out stretched far so he could catch enough wind when they did take off. He had tried it before but it was not too helpful since he could only make gentle gusts now.

She nodded, starting to pull on gusts of the wind. Then, she took off, Trangl quickly following, and she pushed the two of them quite quickly up to a level at which he could sustain on his own air flow. It was mostly this thick fur that alarmed her into giving him an extra push, and she continued flying on muscle power only shortly after that. She wasn't sure if the extra push had been needed, but she figured it was better if she did than if she didn't and would regret it.

Slowly climbing back up, she managed, but quickly landed again next to the hole, waiting to see how her friend did. And, of course, to see about this air ability of his. Surely he would have grown from nothing, the question was just how far.

As the white male took off Aamu had already gotten the air to push them a fair distance up. It seemed she gave him an extra push and he was actually a head of her a bit. But as the air ceased he slowed as he had to really rely on his muscles. She made it look so easy, as she sped up and over the edge landing on the edge. She turned and looked down at him. He climbed through the air at a steep angle causing him to slow quicker and beat his wings quicker and with more force. He was not using his affinity anymore just yet. And as he nearly reached the top it looked like though as if he were about to stall and fall back down. So then he raised his wings and gave himself as strong of a push as he could with his affinity. It looked similar to what a hawk does while using an up draft of warm air to gain altitude without flapping. He sped up and shot up out of the sinkhole in a blur of white.

As he made a kind of gentle swoop down he used his wings as brakes and flapped quickly to a persice stop next to Aamu. That was actually the best landing he could recall ever having. He loved flying and wanted to become very skilled at it one day. Soaring high above the clouds was something he always wanted to do. He smiled at Aamu with a wagging tail. "Tada! That was fun! Thankyou Aamu!" He barked with happy gleaming blue eyes. He had the pelt carefully wrapped around his neck, which may have been the reason why he almost fell. But he didn't want to lose it so it seemed logical to him. He shook to loosen the pelt then after a few seconds of figiting he managed to pull at a corner of it and got it off as he laid it over his back again while folding his wings.

The orange dynroth grinned. He really seemed to want to do this on his own and even without the use of air. Of course, that only strengthened one's muscles so it was allright as long as he would use it when needed. Like he did when using it for the last bit. She nodded, although he couldn't see because he was up there now, face upwards.

She smiled at her friend when he landed smoothly this time. "I think you're doing great at the flying, Trangl." she complimented him. "If you continue to land like that from now on." she added teasingly. She watched him put the pelt over his back after a few tries and nodded. Well, he wasn't too far from home so it would hold long enough. "I better get going then. If you need any air or flying training be sure to come by!" she said, and took air again. She was tired, but she really wanted to get home more quickly than she could do by foot.

Trangl smiled brightly at her complement, then the joke with a pleasant laugh. She bid him farewell and replied. "Will do! Thanks again, good bye Aamu!" he said still smiling as he watched her take off into the sky and soon become a orange speck in the distance. It was great to run into her again and he considered coming over to her pack some time soon and maybe get some help with his air affinity. He did enjoy learning on his own but it was easier with help. The white male decided to go by foot for a while and would take off if he was not close enough to the Zanali Pack by nightfall.
