The small wolf could tell that she had made her new companion a bit displeased at what she was saying, and that did not surprise her in the least. The idea of humans often did that, and that was honestly one of the reasons she was wanting to tell him about them. They were scary sometimes, and it wouldn’t be right to let someone walk into them without knowing anything. <b>”Well, my friend Shiloh was there, and he helped me get back here, so that was good at least. But yeah, you might have been able to help too, but don’t worry about it now. I’m ok now!”</b> Sijor barked brightly, her tail wagging it’s happy wag.

Nodding, she agreed with what he commented as well, about the forest and the squirrels. <b>”Yeah! There are squirrels! They’re fast, and hard to catch but it’s a bit easier if you have magic. Did you want to go find some?”</b> Her tongue lolled slightly as she grinned happily at him, nodding. A new friend, a nice day and maybe a fun hunt?

"I..yes" He quickly said. He realized rather fast that the female's intentions weren't the same as his when it came to the small red creatures, but it wasn't exactly like he could say that. Maybe just slightly hint it. " Though if you wish to hunt, I believe a bunny would be a much better meal." He wagged his tail in return, perhaps another meal might not be too bad, after all, even if he wasn't all that hungry at the moment, it still made for some good exercise. And he enjoyed the company of one less smelly for a change. "Please, if you may, lead the way!" He barked, bowing gracefully as a way to ask in the most polite manner he could think of.

She tilted her head at his slight hesitation, yet even though she was momentarily confused, the bright sparkle didn't leave her eyes. Then, it seemed that she understood and she blinked a few times and then gave a hesitant smile at that. Well, obviously other wolves ate meat, even nice ones like this one was. <b>"Oh. Well, I thought you meant you just wanted to see one I guess, that's silly though, of course, you meant to eat it. I forget that other wolves have to eat meat. I don't, though. Just plants, which I can grow with my magic."</b> Sijor smiled a bit brighter at that, thinking that she didn't understand why all wolves didn't figure out how to survive just using magic instead of still having to hunt things. <b>"I mean, if you need help, I can, though, help you a little. At least make it so that they aren't afraid. I can do that with magic too."</b> She perked up even more after thinking of that. After all, if she used her spirit magic to make it so that maybe the animal they found wasn't afraid, then it wouldn't be so bad, right?

Sejath made a surprised face as he heard her words and answered a bit shyly " Well..I actually did mean I wanted to see a squirrel." His eyes slightly averting from the female "Though I believe that might be weird." The quick reminder that he had no powers still hit him though. So far everyone he had met had one type of power or the other. Water, air, possibly earth too, considering the female mentioned growing plants. " Oh that would be nice!" He barked, raising his head a bit again, as to look at the female. " I..haven't seen that many until now, they seem to be interesting creatures! I just thought that you would have wanted a hunt since..so far everyone I know eats meat and all...or at least parts of it." He couldn't help but feel a bit dizzy for some unknown reason but decided to hide it as much as he could, only blinking quickly for a few seconds and moving one of his ears backwards. "I would like to know more about how it feels to grow plants though! And how plants taste to you. For me they just feel a bit..odd and I never ate more than a few blades of grass."

The young hybrid was a bit relieved that he didn't want to immediately eat a squirrel. Of course it was silly to presume that other wolves would eat the same as she did, and honestly, she wasn't even sure why plants tasted good to her, yet meat did not. However, she was not a wolf that went after the answers to most of those queries, so she would be satisfied with what she could see in the hear and now. <b>"Oh! So you want to see one up close and maybe not eat it? Um, that's pretty easy, actually!"</b> She looked around for a few moments, brightly, trying to see if she could find any of the little creatures that might be scampering about. There were a few trees nearby that she barked to Sejath to follow her too and traipsed along quickly to them at which point she seemed to concentrate up at the critters. Slowly, a small squirrel did hop down and sort of just stopped before Sijor as if it were a bit in a daze. It did not look harmed or even really concerned, and it sat there, seeming to be entirely unafraid of the wolves.

<b>"That's the spirit skill, I can help make feelings in other creatures just by concentrating. But it does feel good to grow plants, too. See, watch!"</b> Yet another small concentration was had from the wolf and suddenly, a small area of grass grew up all around her as she sat down happily, wagging her tail. Then she thought a few more moments and took a bite of the grass, chewing it soundly. <b>"I sort of tastes like ... well it's fresh and juicy. Especially after it rains. And to grow things feel just like you're using part of yourself to encourage the ground to grow you a thing."</b>

Sejath perked his ears as he ehard teh female's exlamation. The thought that seeing a squirrel up close was not hard actually made him rather pleased. He did, after all try to see one before but it only ended in the small creature being terrified. He noticed how the female looked around, probably lookign for the small, furry beings that used to love around forests and trees. He half wondered what they ate. Brids, perhaps? He quietly fllowed the young female silently, not asking any more questions as he was just purely curious abou what was going to happen. 

The male looked around, almost tryong to possibly spot where the squirrel will coem from when a sudden noise reached him and made him turn his gaze in it's direction. A small bundle of red fur did, after a while climb down, running in a rather amusing way as it came jumping  towards the female, at which point the small beign stopped, just staring, staring at the female with no concern, as if they were the exact same size and not a threat at all.

IT seemed a rather frightening ability, being able to control other's feelings. After all, if one could just control what you feel, they could also know when you are faking and when you are true. He looked at the female with his normal smile, hiding his inner worry as he quietly replied " Sounds like an incredible ability!" what she continued with made the boulder of worry within himself grow even bigger, even though not by much. How would one even encourage a thing to grow without words? It just sounded..odd. "Ah! Then it must be pretty good with the morning drops of water! I find those to be refreshing and I never even tried to eat grass."

She grinned at him merrily, her tail wagging gently behind her. <b>"So, you can touch him if you want. I am basically telling him to be calm and he won't move."</b> In fact, the squirrel seemed rather unbothered by the whole thing. After a moment or two, it simply laid down on it's front in the grass as if it felt good to do so as Sijor beamed happily at Sejath again. <b>"Yeah! It does taste good with the morning dew on it, too! I don't know why other wolves can't eat it, but they can't all, I know. Several of my pack members still eat meat. But there are other things too, my friend Shiloh eats rocks! He doesn't like it when things are killed, either, so it's good that I don't' have to do that or I don't think we could be friends."</b> She barked along, assuming that her new friend wanted to know all of this information. Raising a paw, she gently tapped the squirrel atop its little head as if to show that it wasn't going to do anything at all, held under the power of her spiritual affinity.

Sejath could not help but stare at the squirrel for a bit, as he approached it slowly. "Impressive." He barked, staring at the small little bundle of fur. His nose slowly crept closer the squirrel with his wet, cold nose, making bits of the fur stick to the wetness. He laid down, still sniffing and staring at the small creature  almost as if he was in a completely different world, overtaken by the fascination he had for the small creature. Until, a few words reached his ears and made him turn confused towards the female. "..rocks?" he asked, one of his eyebrows slowly raising in disbelief. "..How?" He could understand that some liked grass or blood but hearing about someone eating rocks just seemed ridiculous. How could they even eat such things without breaking their teeth? Or where they fully toothless? It seemed all too strange. "Does he...chew on the rocks or eat them as they are? And how does he not die from that? does he eat small rocks or big ones?" It was even stranger that he did not like people who killed, something that to Sejath seemed as a normal thing. Eating rocks and not meat was the weird part. He continued with a few quieter words hoping he would not sound too rude. " I mean, I had seen birds eating rocks but only small ones, and never a wolf. Forgive me if I seem confused."

Well that was an odd question and she tilted her head with a grin on her muzzle. <b>"He just chews them and eats them of course. I mean, he's really big and really strong, at least twice my size or maybe bigger! And he eats all sorts of rocks and I think even gems too. I mean, it doesn't seem to bother him at all, he's never told me about a broken tooth so I think they're just stronger than you or I."</b> Was the explanation that rolled out from her as easy as it could be. What with Sijor not really understanding why it was being asked. It had always just been natural to her that her friend had eaten rocks, and she never had cause to question it.

<b>"It's ok, that's why you ask. I mean, I don't know, this world is weird. I was born here, but my mum was not. She told me that it's weird here as compared to the other world that she used to be from before she came, years ago. But there are wolves that eat plants and rocks, and even some that drink blood! I suppose it's just normal and maybe it just depends on what your parents were like."</b> The small hybrid tried to continue to explain, as her new friend seemed to want to know. All the while, she kept a small lulling amount of spiritual affinity on the squirrel though, watching it with a smile in her eyes. It was really cool what that magic could do.

It didn't seem that Sejath was interested in any further conversation, so she smiled and wagged her tail, realizing she should probably go home by now, before she was missed. <b>"Well, if you're ever in the area, Orior's right to the south, the lake surrounded by the forest, and we always like visitors! I should return now, anyhow, so hopefully I'll see you later!"</b> She sped away swiftly, happy to have the wind rushing through her fur.
