Vuple bounded off after him. Her excitement increased with each leap. Of course the springs, how could she forget?! The same springs she had learned how to control her fire skill. "Race ya!" She barked loudly and took off as fast as she could though there wasn't that far to go.

Pixel snorted as Vuple raced past him. It was not a fair race, for such a long-legged wolf to race a dwarf like him! He did not have the breath to comment as he increased his steps, and soon they reached the aforementioned place. Catching his breath, the smaller grey azahi looked around in search of some nice, big, flat stone. If it could be light grey already, then that would be the easiest to shape into a big flat fish image for the floor.

Vuple pranced and looked over her shoulder. In her excitement she had ignored how short her companion was. A pang of guilt washed over her, she hoped she hadn't offended him. Thinking it would be awkward to bring it up she decided to ignore it and maybe he would too. "What can I help you find?" She barked. He seemed to be looking for something and while she had an idea she wanted to be sure exactly what they were looking for. It was a bit hard to concentrate because her mind kept wondering to thoughts of Shin's reaction to the whole ordeal.

Still breathing rather hard from the short sprint - Pixel always felt he was more built for long distances - he stared into Vuple's face for a good few heartbeats before answering. "Grey, and blue. Or white if blue's not available. Preferably large, flat stone." he then indicated, more with body language than with barks, because those were actually harder right now. Still, he found himself able to move again, and closed his maw as breathing became less difficult. So then, he started walking around some in search of stone to work with. He'd probably be needing mashed flower petals for the blue, but that could be arranged later.

More guilt pinched her heart as it seemed Pixel was out of breath. She would have to remember to be more considerate. His barks were breathy and slow. She listened to him and tried to visualize what he said. 'Gray, blue, white...big..flat..' she thought to herself and with a nod she barked, "Got it" Vuple peeled her extra sensitive eyes on the scenery around them. The hunt was on. The rocks had to be perfect. She had to find exactly what Pix needed so he could make the fish for Shin. She trembled with glee and scanned the rock walls, and ground. Something poked up out of the ground a bit it looked like it could be either grey or white. A gasp escaped her maw and she pounced beside it. She tried to brush away the dirt on top and found it to be as she expected a grey rock, though because it was semi-buried, she wasn't sure how big it was. Excited paws clawed at the ground beside it trying to dig it out. After a moment or two she came to the conclusion that this would be a big enough rock and she didn't need to worry about digging it all the way out. "Here's one I think" she barked and pranced off to find another. Another rock poked out of the ground a little closer to the spring. Thinking she had found another she again began digging beside it, however as it turned out it was only a bit bigger than her paw. No sense in using it. She moved on and scanned the bluff. The wall was much higher than she was tall but with her sensitive eyes she was able to see details very clearly. She sat and took her time to scan the wall carefully. Eventually the sun shown just right and a glint of something blue caught her eye. "I think there is a pretty blue one up there and maybe some more but I can't reach. How do we get it down?" she turned and looked back at her busy tiny companion.

At Vuple's call, the now-rested Pixel immediately went digging. Well, not actually digging with claw or paw, but with his mind, sensing around the rock and softening all the earth and rock around it so he could lift it. He was just about done setting it aside and nodding to it, admiring the large flat whit-ish stone when the ubelin female called once again. "I'll get it out. There must be some more of those around here!" he barked. He sat next to Vuple, again aiming for the magic to pull at the desired stone. It was a gemstone, well honestly a duller one than the ones Sijor made nowadays - maybe it was an early practise one? - but still a gemstone and blue enough all right. It was just a matter of condensing the sides some more to make it more shiny, but that was for later. First, he needed to get some more and then perhaps he'd have to make several smaller ones out of the existing ones. He wondered about this for a while, until he found another one, more deeply hidden, and again pulled it out with his mind, mentally pulling at the stone while also softening the rock so that it was carefully rigged free.

Vuple watched, silently envying the earth magic. She knew of the possibilities that were open to a wolf that could wield such magic. She had stupid water. She loved the fire..but that stupid water made her cringe. It didn't seen natural. She pushed the wet atrocity from her mind and again focused on the ease in which Pix removed and manipulated the stones and earth. Beautiful.

Soon enough, he'd found several blue stones, and he'd put them on the white slab of rock. "There! They'll need refining of course." he added. "It's easy to reshape the white rock, but can you heat the gemstones for me? It's always easier to morph things when they're hot." he asked his ubelin friend.

Obediently, Vuple nodded and formed a ball of fire thinking it would be the easiest to control but she didn't quite understand the task. "You want me to melt the pretty stone?" She held the ball close to the gem in question.
