The Wild Cat didn't have much more to do once Keita appeared. She took a cursory look around to see if any other wolves were about and then she nodded to Aamu. <b>"You will be safe. Soon you will be back in your pack."</b> Was her grumble as she gave a fanged smile and then with a tail swish, walked off into the woods. She would be better off back on patrol, watching for anything weird than simply lagging about here.

Aamu's tail thumped a bit on the ground where she had collapsed, as a way of saying goodbye to the cat. It was in the end, mostly the walk here that seemed to take such a toll on her, but she could not have stayed in that city either. Though if the cat had known a healer more close by, perhaps that would have been better.

She tried to concentrate on Keita's blue and vined form, though she found it hard. However, the barks that drifted towards her indicated she expected some wolf or animal to have done this, so she shook her head. "Just me. Wings... came off." she managed, not thinking clearly enough to formulate a more intricate sentence. "There's a... strange fog. In the city." she added after a while. She wasn't sure if it was poisoning her through the wound or if she was simply feeling so deranged from blood loss. Honestly, really all she wanted was to sleep, but she didn't know if she should - if she'd wake up if she did.

Her brow creased, not having heard that particular thing before. Could wings really just fall off? However, as Aamu continued on in her exhausted manner, she realized that it had been the stone ruins. Those strange ruins, yet again, had taken a toll on another wolf. A wolf that clearly had not been doing anything wrong save perhaps exploring them. Keita did not like that idea at all, especially coming in the aftermath of her own daughter having lost a leg to the strange humans that lived within. Had they perhaps caused that fog that the yellow wolf spoke of? <font color="#1B3F8B"><b>"Well, I do not know what toxin that could be that would cause such a thing. It seems those stone ruins are far more dangerous than any wolf truly knows. I am sorry you had to find out in such a way. However, you need rest and time, and a poultice to keep everything clean and healing well until then, I think."</b></font>

More plants were removed from her satchel, some large green flat leaves, small grasses and even a few little flowers. She deftly mashed them up on the rock that she'd grown up, creating a gooey looking paste that was a light greenish-yellow. It wasn't the most appetizing thing to look at but she nodded at it finally, satisfied that it was what it was supposed to be and started applying some of it to Aamu's torn flesh. <font color="#1B3F8B"><b>"Some Numbing Mint will take away that pain, and the curemoss, cleanseweed and stretchgrass should keep it from growing anything untoward. You'll still want to wash it in fresh water at least daily, and then reapply. I added some star gold to help it heal faster. I can only imagine how painful that must be."</b></font> The remainder of the salve she placed in a large flat thick leaf and folded it over itself to make a little packet of sorts, tying it with some other grasses. She nodded to Aamu. <font color="#1B3F8B"><b>"You'll need to rest. You can certainly rest here, I'll even find you nourishment if you require. However, I'll be sending this with you when you do need to go back home."</b></font> She nodded to the packet she'd made.

As Aamu listened, some parts of what Keita said hit home and some didn't, but she managed a grin anyway. "If anything... I look like a normal wolf once again. Somewhat." she told Keita. She honestly wasn't sure if the fog was toxin, or if the strange energy had been toxin and this was a cure. Rather a painful cure however. Not one she'd been wanting to experience.

Soon, the paste started to work on the pain, if anything, which made her sigh in relief. She'd blocked out most of it somehow, but surely now that is was being held at bay, suddenly she realized how happy she was with the... mint. She thought it was mint anyway, from what Keita said. It was the only plant that she remembered Czest talking about, before... she winced at the thought and tried to shake her head to clear it. She refused to believe they were gone for ever.

"I'd like to rest, here." she told her healer, looking up to her. "Freyja'll help with the rest, ...when I get home." she murmured most of that last bit, thinking about what was offered and then nodding once again. "Food can wait till dawn." she decided, yawning. Oh, she'd have apologized for that, but for now she felt so numb and a little bit down even, that she wanted nothing more than sleep and wake up with her family whole again, like it'd all been a bad dream.

The dynroth nodded at that. Well she would look pretty normal, once the wounds had healed. Not that normal was anything that was definitely set in stone in this strange world. It honestly didn't seem as if the wounded areas were infected at least not yet, so it was good that Kailarra had managed to get her here so soon after the incident. As Aamu stated her intention to rest, she nodded. <b>"Of course. So long as you like. You are safe here. Even now, Kailarra watches from within the trees as well, to alert me if anything is amiss."</b>

As the yellow wolf finally decided to lay down and rest, she nodded and moved away carefully and quietly to allow her space. It wouldn't be too unusual for a wolf to sleep near the lake, but she sent out a mental message towards Shinshu, anyhow, to let him know that there was a visitor here. Just so he did not get too alarmed, although he was smart and likely had already figured it out. Then, she left her visitor rest, and mulled over the fact that yet again, that strange stone ruins had taken something from a wolf.
