Her ears pulled back with the rumbling, looking around to see the cause when she realized that the smalle airborne wolf was doing this with magic. The tree grew from nothing, and she felt her jaw loosen a bit, drooping and her tongue rolling out of it. She would have run normally, at something this profound but she also remembered the other structure that had been crafted. But bringing something to life? This was new to her and she was astounded by it.

"How... Long did it take?" She was meaning how long it had taken her to learn this. "Are you... Like the greatest around? Who taught you?!" Her eyes still wide, and her body was pretty tense- almost fearful.

Aura panted lightly under the shade of the great tree and beckoned her new friend over with a wave of a paw. <b>"It's really just a tree, don't worry! Trust me, it's just like it took years to grow but with magic, it was much faster and better!"</b> The tiny wolf's exuberance and affirmation of the situation came out in her small barks and she nodded to Symia, swishing her tail back and forth. The other wolf had queries, however, and she squinched up her face a moment as if thinking of answers. Then, she gave the best she could.

<b>"Oh! I don't think I'm the best around at all. There's a really powerful mage in Orior that is super talented with earth too and I am pretty sure she's better than me! And I was taught by lots of others when I was newer at the magic, but also I learned on my own by practice and lots of exposure to plants and trees and just all around earth! After all, it's an elemental affinity, really, not just magic, so you have to have an affinity for the element that you want to work."</b> She offered up with a grin, her stance still friendly and excited.

Symia listened intently, and puzzled over the basics of the concept of magic. She could almost feel something stirring in her, a desire fueled by an instinct. She knew shebshould have magic, so why didn't she? Was it because she couldn't remember?

She looked at the small wolf, and her tail wagged slightly as she barked out short bits of phrases, "Aura, what about... Fixing minds?" She paused, wondering how she should phrase it. "Healing wounds, that is one thing- but what if I can't remember? I should be able to do... Something" she put emphasis on the last word, letting it curl into a growl of frustration. She knew something was wrong. But what was it?

Aura tilted her head at the proposed idea of fixing a mind. Well, it was undoubtedly something that magic should be able to do, but not any magic Aura had. Although she did have a hint of what it could be. <b>"So, normal healing stuff, like I can do with plants and whatnot, that can't do it. If you're talking about a mind, you're talking about a thing's spirit, and that's something that has a magic, but not one that I know! It's much more complicated so only a few wolves really understand it! I know one, but she lives to the south, in Orior. If you don't mind going to a packland, I bet she'd help you. She's pretty nice, she's helped me before."</b> The tiny wolf nodded rather definitively about that. The very few times she'd ever been to Orior, she'd been able to find the wolves she needed quickly and the first wolf that had been a friend when she'd gotten here originally had been from there too.

Although she didn't want to leave the other with such frustration, either, so she thought of something else that maybe would help. <b>"You know, I really do think though, that the more time you spend around an element, the more you can feel close to it. So maybe, if there's one you like, then spend some time with it! See what happens!"</b> After all, for the chipper tiny azahi, that would surely be the ticket, right? At least maybe it would help somehow, even though she couldn't explain the way she really felt that way, it just seemed to be the way that the energy flowed through her, always wanting to make another feel at least a little better.

She nodded, looking at the wolf with a smile. "Maybe eventually... but right now... I think I'll just have to take your advice. " She paused, "I should probably go to the shore... maybe being around the ocean will help me? I'll try to make my way to that place... but packs aren't really... my thing." Her tail moved back and forth, and she perked her ears up again. "Do you know which way it is? The elder always told me about it, the ocean, but I never went there. We mostly stayed up in the mountains... I prefer the cold to much and all."

She couldn't help but feel like, maybe, if she tried enough, and found this wolf Aura spoke of in Orior - that she would finally be able to do something with magic.

ooc;; I just figured out how to tie almost all of Symias threads together. Setting this one to before she was in the rocky pools, before she went to the coast and slipped. It works

Aura nodded happily, pleased that Symia seemed to understand what she was intending with her advice. <b>"The ocean is a great place to be, yet it is far to the east, and if you head there from here you may pass through the lowlands of some chill territory. Just be careful of the large stone ruins you'll see to the south. They can be dangerous for wolves, many strange creatures lurk within and well, everything there isn't so stable sometimes!"</b> The tiny azahi told her new companion. Seeing that their conversation was coming to an end and feeling that the other wished to move on, she smiled to her.

<b>"To find me, I'm a bit more to the west and south of here, an orchard near some grasslands. You cross the river to the south of us and well, then slightly west, I'm there. I'm always up for teaching any wolf that does have elemental magics that I know, as well!"</b> She fluttered upwards then, and grinned back down at Symia with a nod and a flick of her tail. <b>"I hope your journey goes well!"</b>

Symia watched the tiny winged wolf take flight and took her advice to heart, looking off in the direction she had said the ocean was. It had been so long since she had been on a long travel, in fact she couldn't ever really remember going anywhere that took her more than a single day. She traced the outline of the wolf as she vanished into the distance.

Symia started to tred onwards, a new vigor in her step. Soon, she would find out how to get magic.
