By now, Daemions stamina was very nearly out and the throbbing pain of his side was becomming much more evident. He gritted his teeth, watching the branches grasp at the beasts paws and watched happily as the bear also sank partically into the ground. His legs were still slightly exposed, but his neck was to covered in the fat rolls. He leapt onto the bear, wishing he had claws as large as this bear did. He examined the knife like claws held still, wincing as he realized they were coated in his blood and dirt. He jabbed the bear with his wing in the bears shoulder, grinning as it snarled at him- struggling to break free. He took a few more steps toward the back legs, looking at the bits of fat that his horns had cut open. They were barely bleeding. He bit down on a few pieces, tearing off pieces of the fat until the blood was much more evident. He gritted his teeth together, biting down a few last times until the blood was pumping out in time with the bears rapid heartbeat. Once upon a time he would have been able put the bear out of his misery, but now he would have to wait.

The bear was still struggling violently, and Daemion noted that these bears had much more rage in them. But the more the bear struggled, the fast he would bleed. He hopped off, using his wings to gain a bit of altitude. The muscle on his right side screamed in pain and his right wing faltered a bit. Causing him to land on the ground awkwardly and collaspe a bit. He growled, frustrated with his injuries.

He looked up, glancing at Circe- she was only panting slightly and looked far from impressed. He grunted again as he stood up. "Well... Thanks." He was struggling to breathe easily. His side was bloodied, the fur soaked with it. He realized how weak he was feeling, and figuring he was loosing a bit to much blood, decided to roll on the ground to coat his wounds with some dirt to help it clot.

"You wouldn't happen to be able to make me stop bleeding?" He grunted, standing up again and walking towards her. The bears snarls were subsiding- and Daemion felt like he could feel its life is slipping out. But still, something was off about everything. He couldn't tell if it was his body faltering or if he was just exhausted.

The bear was still alive, but no longer a threat. Circe watched reluctantly as it died very very slowly, but her attention span for a dying non-threat wasn't so long. She focused on Daemion, noticing several severe cuts - if he wasn't bleeding out, he might get infected instead. She sighed a little, this would mean she could not simply leave him there. "I know a few basic healing plants, but... you need a better healer than me." she hesitated, then decided on something rash. She did not know where Aura lived exactly, and she did think they needed to hurry. "Promise me you'll behave, and I'll take you to my mother. She's just... not like me. Still, she's family." With that, she started walking around, looking at the types of moss these trees had to offer. It wasn't long until she found the blue type that she sought, and pulled it off the trees. She's need more, and walked a little further to do so, finally collecting what she thought should be enough, all collected not too far from the lerk and the Bear.

He felt his body collaspe a bit and let himself sink back down. The bear, by now, was silent. He was still hungry too. She was a healer too then? He was surprised she would even bother to learn such a skill. But glad she had. He watched her gather up the strange colored moss, reminded of a time forever ago when he had been healed by someome else. Only those wounds were not from a bear.

He smirked a bit, but the expression was still twinged eith pain, "I supposed I could behave but I still need some of that bear... Its just... I can't get down there." He pulled his ears back, how pathetic he was- to have to need so much help so quickly. To be so weak even with his new size. This world was something he shouldn't have underestimated.

"Circe..." He paused, finding his pride a bit to hard to fully swallow. "You did well... Thanks."

He cringed again, not for the pain this time but for how idiotic he was.

As she worked, Daemion talked. How stupid he had been, well apparently he finally saw now that the world was more dangerous than he had believed, especially when it came to a Bald Bear. Speaking of which, the latter seemed to finally have stopped twitching. She had a maw full of Curemoss by now though, and first walked to the collapsed and weak lerk. She put the moss roughly onto his wounds, as deep as she could manage, to help it clot and stop the infection all at once - she hoped. She could probably also seal it with fire, but she wasn't quite sure how great of an idea that would be, since she did not know exactly how deep the bear's claws had punctured Daemion.

This all done, she nodded. "I hope you'll survive, because otherwise this was all a lesson for nothing." she shrugged, then moved to the bear. She pulled up her nose, but still managed to pull of some of the bear's hide, finally getting to the muscle from which she tore off a chunk of meat. Great - all this trouble to bring down a Bald Bear without getting near it, still she needed to help this lerk eat and get it's filthy smell all over herself. She could have imagined better days.

He winced as she put the moss into his wounds, growling slightly as the pain sunk furthur in. He glared at her comment, but bit his tongue so that he wouldnt loose the help he was getting.

She tore off a hunk of the bear and he shambled over to where they both were. "It doesn't smell to terrible, just like rot." She probably would have disagreed, and he knew that, but he was accustomed to the stentch of rot and decay.

Catching the glare, Circe smiled only a little - where to be honest, with wolves she really did not like and of which she thought they had no connection with her former pack, she would just laugh at them and walk away. So even if perhaps she was not intimidated by his stubborn face and willingness to put down a Bald Bear right away, still she did all those things just because he had strung a nerve in the right way somewhat.

He managed to crawl, mostly, over to where she had taken off a piece of the larger animal, and she threw it his way, not bothering to try and eat it herself. It was her time to glare then, when he said it didn't smell so bad, though she also knew that having him get agitated too much would surely kill him. She mused over the one wound so close to his wing, looking at the front claws of their prey that she had snared previously. They were insanely long, but she didn't know if they were all covered in blood because the nails had gone all the way in, or because Daemion had bled so much anyway.

He took a few bites, realizing that she was right. This thing dod not taste like the bears in his land, it tasted more like a carrion eater. This thing was no hunter of its own. He sighed, continuing to eat it. If there was one thing he had learned in his life- it was not to let food waste. He glanced down at her and saw that she was looking at its claws.

"Don't tell me you're concerned." He grinned, and took another bite. The pain still throbbed but at least he was no longer bleeding, breathing still hurt though. "Before you say anything, don't worry your pretty little self about it. I have survived more interesting wounds.... This one is deep, no doubt, but I think it missed the good stuff...." He paused. Wondering if she really was even remotely concerned. But why did he care? He continued to munch on the bald bear meat, almost finished with the chunk she had thrown up. "Do... Uh, do you think you could toss me up another piece?" He licked his jaws, "Big wolf... so I can eat a lot." He wanted to eat as much as he could, a trait he doubted he would ever be able to overcome. Food was scare where he was before, he used to have to eat rotting food just to survive. That is, before he claimed his rightful pack. The ways of his kind... Had conditioned him for survival.

At Daemion's barks, she turned her head to stare directly at him, watching him grin and eat. He continued to talk to her, however, before she could think of a good reply, not to worry... her pretty little self? Why, she wasn't sure if this was supposed to be a compliment or not. He stopped talking then, and she decided that perhaps not commenting was better. Let him think what he would. He did still have the nerve to ask for more meat, so while she was reluctant to get back on tearing of meat with her maw once again, at least it prevented a thorough questioning or conversation. Moving through the bear, tearing off the hide first - more roughly than when she and Abyss had skinned one, so it was quicker - she muffled between her teeth. "No surprise. If you're so healthy, you could just come over here and do it yourself." She wasn't sure if he even heard all that, to be honest, and she didn't really expect a reply if he had either.

He grinned at her muffled remarks, all he really caught was that she was mentioning something about how he should do it himself. So she didn't realize then. At least that was good. He wasn't sure if he should have explained it to her or not, but using his wings were impossible right now. In fact, they really just hung limp right now.

"I wouldn't be able to get out love." A slight hint of his actual personality was starting to come through. Ah yes, the taunting, teasing, playfully cocky egotistical male persona. "Besides, you look like you're having fun." He winked at her.

"So... You know healers?" He finished the last of the first hunk of meat. What he really needed was to make sure he hadn't been hurt to much. A few hours ago, he wouldn't have cared if he lived or died, but now... He was considering finding a reason. He glanced back down at her, a faint smirk as he could almost feel her frustration of being down there with the bear she obviously had a large amount of dislike for.

Circe snorted at the first comment, not bothering to look up, but when he said she looked like she was having fun, she looked up, her face all smeared with blood, mostly around her maw. She could not help but give him a wicked grin, teeth dripping blood when she spoke. "I do, don't I?" After which she ducked down to tear off the meat she had managed to free from the fat.

He casually asked about a healer as she tossed him whatever she had managed to get loose, and she nodded. "My mother is extremely helpful. There's also a wandering healer that I know of, but the problem with her wandering, is I cannot locate her very quickly." she told him matter-of-factly. Helpful was a sure means of saying 'capable of healing and doing this for everyone because she is such a nice wolf' but she figured that either he would pick up on this, or he would see when they got there. Either way, there wasn't so much of a choice in this for either of them, except to just leave him and see if that meant he died or got better.
