That was settled, then. The di'shei nodded, and pulled out an orb from the lake. Showing it to Shinshu first, he added the movement to the tiniest particles that he knew so well, the ones Turok had once called molecules. Moving them more quickly, added heat to the orb, after which it started to steam and then completely evaporated. "This here, causes water to turn into water gas, or damp, which is in the air at all times. I find that in cold air, there's less of water in the air, but on this day you should be able to find it." he told his new friend while demonstrating. "Water is in constant motion. What I did now, was heat it by making it move more. To do so, you must connect to the element at the tiniest level you can find." he told the lerk. Let's first see what he made of that.

He was more than comfortable with that since pride was not his thing. He noted all the movements, tiny as they were, that occurred within the orb. Then let the Di'shei explain what he had just done.He hummed for a moment, and picked up his own orb, giving a nod. "What I witnessed was much like what I first learned from a lovely mage called Aura. She told me to get a feel for the water's currents, and reach out to them, changing them in minor ways. I understand this is on a more intricate scale?" he signed to the other wolf.

The Lerk focused on the water, feeling the current moving about. He encouraged the current to move faster, little happened. "Focus on the tiniest level, hm?" he thought to himself,
ceasing to move the water for now, staring intensely. It was then he found a whole new world of water that he previously had not seen before. Rather than looking at it as a singular entity, Shinshu found it was more complex. Starting out with one teeny tiny particle of water, he moved it a little faster. He did another, and another, until a chain reaction started, and the water heated, and soon turned to steam, though some water was left over that he simply lost control over. It plopped back into the lake. He sat there, blankly staring at the lake, a little amazed at what he had just accomplished. </td>

Ahti nodded, remembering his first lesson with Aura as well - and much similar, too. "Similar, yet a world apart. In essence, you must find the tiniest flow of water, smaller even than a misty droplet." He was silent then, seeing that Shinshu seemed to focus on the water orb he'd pulled up himself, and successfully, started to heat up the water particles by moving them. Friction.

"Very well done, you're a quick learner." he complimented. Seeing that Shinshu was amazed, he waited a little to let that sink in. "Do you have questions so far?" he wondered. If not, they could move on with the next step - the opposite, which was harder because the water was much more suspended in the air than in the lake.

"Thank you, you're very kind." he said to the compliment. then shook his head. "I understand very clearly. Is there anything else I can learn from you at this beginner stage?" he asked, being too humble, since he was far from a beginner at this point. </td>

Ahti chuckled. Shinshu wasn't a beginner as far as he could tell, especially since he picked up the heating of water so easily. "The opposite, slowing down the movement of water, allows one to turn water into ice or to collect water damp into one orb. I'll focus on the latter, since making ice will have you go against the natural summer heat. But come winter, try freezing water, I'm sure you'll be able to." he told the white male.

Ahti conjured a small puddle, and heated it up only halfway so that some of the water became gaseous, thickly suspended in the air right above the puddle. "Here. See if you can collect the damp water into a single orb," he offered the white male.

He knew exactly what the aqua male was laughing at, and it made him feel a little proud, though he was hesitate to feel this as he experienced it leading to arrogance. Listening to Ahti's speak confused him for a little while, until the Di'shei made the puddle turn into mist. "Ah, I see." he thought outwardly.

Feeling for the faster particles was hard, as they buzz around quite a bit in this huge cloud of mist, but he managed to focus on a few, slow them down and bring them together. A tiny droplet of Shinshu's started to form, but he lost concentration, and the orb dropped back into the puddle. "I get the general concept, my friend, I've just grown tired after so much effort." he admitted. </td>

Ahti felt his pride and hesitant feeling that came immediately with, so he just smiled a little and said nothing much about it at all. After explaining, he watched Shinshu struggle to grasp a few particles - and the tiniest of orbs easily slipped from the lerk's grasp. He nodded at the words spoken, seeing that he was right at being tired and also understanding hat grasping the already fast-moving water, was by far harder. So Ahti nodded in understanding. "Of course. Perhaps you should focus on heating the water some more, and with the cooler weather, slow down the water to make ice. For now, this may be enough instruction." he figured. He smiled at Shinshu. "If you need more help by then, you're welcome to travel to Zanali. I don't know if and wehn I can visit here again." he explained. One of the many downsides of leading a pack was not being able to leave it too often.

"One would assume that the lakes are sparse and unkempt there.." he wondered, but kept it to himself, keeping his grin on. "You are most welcome to enjoy the lake while you're here, as well as feed, and rest. I've a spare room into my den if you wish to rest near the lake." he offered, and gestured to his den entrance, in a hill on the southern-most side of the lake.</td>

Ahti nodded, well, if that was the case he supposed that Shinshu would be able to figure it out for himself. The aqua di'shei smiled back at the water-attuned lerk, nodding his thanks. "That would be nice, thank you. A trip like this is no easy walk." he smiled. Although working with water mostly refreshed him more than tired him, it was still nice to be able to stay a day longer, maybe even two.

For a few moments, he thought on the long journey it would be to go up to the Zoo, but he supposed it would be worth it if he could learn with the best water mage he knew so far.
