[ COMPLETED ]

It had been a solemn season and now due to his condition a relatively quiet one. Not sure how to go about daily life he spent almost all of his time patrolling the boarders. He loved it here. Loved the snow. Loved his pack mates. He longed to be able to talk to Skadi. 

Today was no different than yesterday, or the day before, or even the day before. He felt himself trapped in a monotonous daily existence. He found himself on one of the higher places in his territory. As he looked out over the landscape before him he realized that though he felt he was living the same day in and day out, the world around him was still changing. Summer had come. He pondered this as he continued his patrol. One false step in some semi-melted snow caused him to slip closer to the edge of a small cliff. Scrambling to catch his footing only seemed to speed the process up. At the last second he tried to jump back to saftey but by then the ground had already gone out from under him and he began to fall in an awkward position that would mean certain death if he couldn't right himself. He twisted and tried to turn but there hadn't been enough time before the ground came rushing up on him. Just as he was about to collide with the ground a swirling vortex opened beneath him swallowing him. 

In only a short moment the snow settled leaving no trace of evidence that anything had happened.
