(OOC: Follow up to Wicked Wasteland Made Me Wingless. Let's say she's close enough to the Zoo to be heard, but isn't quite there yet?) Enfys had already sent out a loud howl to cry for help, but she couldn't just wait there for help to come. No matter how much pain she was in she needed to keep going, or the life-threatening lacerations on either side near her shoulders would get the better of her. Slowly but surely, she pushed herself forward. The shock numbed her pain a little, but not enough. "Please... someone... help..." she panted. She could feel the blood leaving her body- not in a magical sense, but in a more physical way, since she felt herself weakening as time went on...

Atarah heard the call of her friend, her howl was different. Something was wrong, very wrong. She pinpointed where the sound had originated and took off as quickly as she could. Once in the air she sped up as fast as possible and blinked as far as she could putting her that much closer to her friend. While in the air she used her spirit skill to scan the area for Enfys. Soon she felt her spirit, broken and filled with pain. A pain gripped her chest and she folded her wings against her and dropped through the sky. The ground rushed up to meet her in a hurry and just before she landed she opened her wings and though she still landed with a thud it wasn't nearly as hard as it would have been. What she saw when she landed brought tears to her eyes. ...oh enfys..." her voice was almost inaudible. Gently she walked up to her and touched her head to hers. She stretched her spirit and reached out to Enfys, maybe she could ease some of her pain and calm her spirit. Though she didn't know what had happened she didn't need to know just yet. The first thing was helping her friend feel better.

Ahti felt his soul crush at the sound of Enfys. This was definitely not good.

But di'shei weren't naturally the fastest wolves around, at least not compared to flying dynroth, so even at his faster-than normal, almost running pace, he had to go by the sight of Atarah diving down recklessly between two stone buildings. His more developed senses, including a blood and spirit affinity, told him enough of what was going on.

Not too soon after Atarah's soothing spirit magic, his own joined the cause, almost interrupting - but not with a soothing aura. His was more abrupt, immediately targeting blood flow, thinking that Enfys might start to feel more comfortable than she should - not feeling a wound so much gave one the strength to push further, but she really should not. Not at all. Perhaps it might cause even, a slight temporary dizziness as the first thing coming to his mind was to dry the blood that had contact with the air, and for that, for a heartbeat it stopped flowing in that area after all. He almost shied away from his own magic, seeing that it had a more direct affect than he could ever have hoped for, apparently having grown in the skill perhaps. It was a necessity to sustain the flow to her vital organs quickly after that, mostly her heart, brain and lungs. He could feel all that.

Closing the distance then finally, this all was over, the flow from the wound next to nothing soon as he touched her. Enfys. Stay with me. he asked her, demanded of her really, preferring mentally over physically talking, just asking her not to slip away into the luring darkness of unconsciousness. Because it was near, he could feel it.

The wounded Di'shei did not hear her friend, likely losing her hearing due to almost passing out, but she saw her. She felt a sudden sense of calm run through her, and wasn't sure if it was because she was close to passing out, or Atarah's Spirit magic. She leaned into the Dynroth's head, and weakly panted. "Atarah. My wings-" before she could say anything else, she noticed something different going on in her body. She took a sharp inhale, and grew unsteady on her paws, sidestepping and almost tripping over. A blur of light green was spotted by Enfys. She blinked a few times, and it soon came into focus. "Handsome..." she said, with a weak grin, clearly delirious. His voice rang through her mind and she gave a very slight nod.

And no one strikes it for it is too soft and innocent and sweet.

She had felt his presence before he arrived and as he approached she stepped to the side. He knew far more about treating the wounds that plagued her friend. She would only get in the way. Careful not to lean against her back where her once beautifully arrayed wings had sprouted, she laid down beside her friend as she had once before. If Ahti needed her to aid him he would speak, until then this was her place.

Enfys seemed... well, apart from the sudden stop and redeemed blood flow to her brain, slightly delusional still. He wasn't sure if she recognized his outline, smell, or voice mostly, but she recognized him at least. Good. He looked into her eye mostly to check how she was responding, not thinking this a very romantic moment. At this point, even with her greeting him like that, in an almost whispered tone which in other cases might have been attractive, he was mostly viewing her like any healer would, pragmatically.

Still not daring to lose contact with her neck, he mostly ignored what Atarah was doing until she was actually on the ground. He blinked at her as if he saw her for the first time, which due to his previous focus on Enfys might or might not have been the case. "We need to move her, Atarah. She can't stay here." Out in the open. Vulnerable. Attracting Scaled Zephyrs, Char Hunds and Giant Rats with her trail of smelly blood behind. He figured he could use water to transport her if necessary, but it would be rather cold and probably shocking for Enfys. Which might not be very helpful in this case.

Slowly, but surely, her hearing faded back in, and her ears twitched to Ahti's voice. "I can... move... myself." she panted, and started the journey back to Zanali. It was going to be a long one without her wings, but she could do it- slowly. She was determined.

Atarah's face wrinkled at her friends words. Maybe she was strong enough maybe she should walk back on her own. As soon as Atarah thought this she immediately disagreed with herself. She did not like the idea of Enfys walking all the way there and possibly hurting herself worse. "Are you sure you feel like you can?" she barked softly then turned to Ahti for his reaction.

Enfys, upon hearing him ask Atarah for help, decided she would walk on her own. He shook his head, but knew by now, better than to go completely against it. Instead, he stepped up next to her for support, but threw her a questioning look that indicated he did not agree with her. "You've lost a large amount of blood there, Enfys. I'm not sure you should exhaust yourself if you don't have to."

She continued to lumber towards the Zoo, nodding to Atarah, but when Ahti voiced his opinion, she stopped and sat down, panting. "How am I going to get back, then?" she asked, not really in the right state to be coming up with ideas. Moving her head from her mate to her best friend weakly, she soon stated. "This is really happening, isn't it?" Through the dizzy spells and immense pain, her emotional side started to emerge. Her heart sunk, and her face drooped. She stared blankly at the floor, between the Dynroth's legs.
