Symia swallowed a bit, trying not to make herself sound to surprised by the new coming wolf and the small chattering squirrel. She thought for a moment of the owl that always seemed close by and cast and upward glance. He must have not enjoyed the notion of hanging around with so many strange new wolves. She wondered if he would try to eat the small wolf-friend squirrel or if they would have something in common instead. "It hurts a lot when I step on it, hard to walk on it, but as long as I don't put any weight on it it's only a little sore." Symia felt so small and young compared to all the others around her, and made a mental note that Seth was quite a bit younger than she was, but with him being so large it was constantly slipping her mind that he was basically still a pup.

 
    All her focus was on this new wolf that had not given her her name. Though she thought it a bit strange she only made a mental note of it and pushed it to the side, it was not a pressing issue. She also felt in her spirit a wavering fear or maybe a touch of anxiety within the stranger, and again made a mental note of it and tried to present herself in a relaxed manner. 

    As she described the pain she was in, herbs and things ran through Atarah's mind and looked over the indicated paw. Seth had mentioned that he didn't think it was broken and given that his father was one of the best healers Atarah could think of she trusted his instinct. There didn't seem to be an apparent open wound or sore that could be the source of the fall. Without an open wound things like curemoss, rough grass, or clenseweed wouldn't be of any use. If it wasn't broken yet there was pain when weight was put on it, maybe it was sprained? These thoughts kept her silent for a moment and her head lowered in thought, but then she raised her head to once again make respectful eye contact and asked, "Have you fallen or maybe landed wrong somehow?" 

    As the words formed she gently, without really having to work hard grew a fully developed Birch tree. The tree grew a few paces away, and in the other trees so that it wouldn't be bothersome to the others. Though it was the wrong time of year to collect Archebark due to it becoming more brittle in the winter time, she use her earthen affinity again to rejuvenate the bark. After she asked the question she walked over to the tree and removed some of the bark. Like always she caused the bark to fully grow underneath the top layer so that when she removed it she had done no harm to the tree itself. The bark, only a bit bigger than a stretched out paw, floated along beside her as she walked the few paces back. "This will help with the pain. Chew it and swallow the liquid, not the bark itself." Normally she considered herself rather passive than authoritative, but here she felt like she needed to take some sort of control of the situation. 

    'Ahti would know much more about this situation than I do. He would know for sure if it was broken or not." she thought to herself. She seriously doubted that it was broken. The idea that she could apply any weight was encouraging, but then again it could be a fracture. Once she answered it would help clarify things a bit more and maybe she could grow another herb that might help or assist her in getting to Ahti, where there would be no guessing.

Seth did not pay too much attention to Auntie Ata, his mother, or the squirrel to be honest. His focus was on Sym (whom he'd mentally already nicknamed indeed like he did with many friends and family members), who seemed a little discomforted at the idea of Atarah bursting in an all the chit-chat that this action brought along. Still, she seemed to manage to get a hold of herself, and he moved a little closer to make sure she could still lean on his shoulder. When she described the soreness and pain, Atarah was able to give her a familiar looking piece of bark, though Seth had never bothered to remember any of those really. But it would help with the pain. Seth looked to his smaller mother, who seemed even smaller without her wings, to ask her a question. "Where's Papa gone off to then? Should I go and get him?" he asked.

Enfys waved the pretty flower over her head lazily for the chirping squirrel while Atarah did her work, but she was interrupted by her son, in response, her eyes widened a little, and she giggled, a little embarrassed about being in a day dream. "I believe he went to Orior to check up on Skye, since all was well with me." she explained.

Symia had fallen silent, perhaps at the news or because all of this was unexpected and maybe shocking. At any rate, when his mother told him his father wasn't here, Seth pouted a little but then looked to his guest. "You can rest here. I'll go see if Auntie Ata is around, then." he told his mother the latter.
