Sif nodded with a grunt, understanding what he meant. Light magic was pretty powerful, it seemed, and not even she really understood it, but she felt she would have to. Dipping her head to eat the mixture, she steeled her stomach to eating all of it, wanting to make sure she was healed properly. In her experience, one did themselves no favors by ignoring the advice of a healer. Once she'd managed to swallow down the harsh tasting paste, she nodded to him again. "You seem to have the right of it. And please, do what you need to do. I do not wish to remain in this weakened state." She moved her leg out to make it better accessible to him, essentially giving him permission to do what he would need to do.

Ahti nodded. Seeing as Sif was determined enough to stomach all of the bitter-root mixture, she would understand that he only needed to do this because he knew no other way. He added a little something, "If you feel dizzy, try lying down. But warn me if it continues then. I can't feel what you feel." he said.

Then, without stopping to hesitate or let her hesitate, he quickly formed a small, very sharp piece of ice and jabbed her paw with it. He dropped the ice, focusing on the blood that started to well up from there. It was always interesting, yet something he didn't often do, to explore another's blood stream while having an actual, open access-wound, as he could sense so much more. He quickly started to work though, directing all her blood -hopefully slowly enough- to pass through this paw vein, and all of the blood that passed was examined thoroughly and encouraged to continue to flow cleanly unto the rest of her body, while the poisons that he had correctly assessed were still (though minor) in there, were slowly pushed out. Most of the poison simply appeared as a clear liquid, dripping off her paw. In the end, it couldn't be more than a few teaspoons of fluid, maybe just one or two.

The grey giant nodded, not entirely sure how this all worked, but determined to see it through. After all, if it was the way, then the way it was, and Sif was no stranger to doing the harder things. Choices that she'd had to make over her many years of life had inured her to things like this, and she would take her medicine when it was needed. Then, the di'shei suddenly jabbed her paw and she blinked a bit, as she suddenly felt something odd happening, although she honestly couldn't really understand it. However, she did see the result as a very small amount of liquid worked it's way out of her paw and she frowned at it, shaking her head. "Just that. You can pull just that from my blood and make it feel better?" It was a bit astounding and, honestly, hard to believe for the giant Lerkrat.

Ahti's brow was furrowed, but when Sif asked her question, he had pulled out most if not all of the toxins, so he stopped manipulating her blood flow to answer her question. Almost immediately he noticed that this was a mistake, since she started to bleed, and he hesitated to correct that by stalling the blood in her paw so it would clot easily and quickly. He put the paste that had been created earlier, on the wound before continuing.

Looking up at Sif, he nodded. "It's not much indeed, so I think half of it has already been cleared out by your own body. But you're right that a venom fang doesn't contain a lot of liquid. It's very strong by itself, you could imagine it spreading in your body like dewdrops on the grass. But less beautiful, unfortunately." he offered. Perhaps the image would help her understand that sometimes a little something could have a massive influence. Like a darksleep flower.

She already had started to feel the effects of a cleansed blood flow and she still simply shook her head in a mild astonishment. However, his explanation was easy to understand and she nodded finally. "Well, perhaps it has, but I am in your debt for the rest. I do not think I could have simply gotten better on my own. This, an unnatural toxin, was not something of the world, almost a magic, perhaps." Sif mused, the great wolf finding it distasteful that such had even happened to her. She would have to be more careful next time, if there was such a time. Bowing her head deeply, she raised a forepaw to her chest. "Is there something I can do to repay you at this time?"
