Scent of old wolf, decay, sickness, and whatever happens to be caught in his mane at the time.
Reference(s):

A shaky, lanky, bone-thin ubeli. His legs are long, but weak, although his front are a bit more muscular than one would think for bearing the weight of his heavy mane, which extends around his neck like that of a lion and covers his eyes, neck and shoulders. His muzzle is somewhat pointed, his nose is red brown, his paws are small, his ears are small for his kind but still large for most wolves and are rounded and thick. The hair in his ears is usually dirty and long, and is a light brown naturally. His medium length fur is a dulled light pink that may once have been rather vibrant, mottled with varying shades of grey. His mane is a light grey, almost white, white in some places, but has a few strands that are hot pink. His eyes are very clear and bright, chartreuse in color and full of life, one would not suspect that he is nearly blind at a distance. In addition, he wears a somewhat crumpled top hat, although he doesn't actually know what to call it.

Markings various patches of grey of many shades most noticably and consistently on his left upper leg, right lower leg which is entirely grey, the top half of his tail, his inner thighs, and his left shoulder.

Scars Depending on what you count 'noteworthy'. The ubeli is littered with scars across his entire body, but the ones that stand out the most include a long dark jagged scar across the top of the muzzle, usually partially covered by his mane, that starts on the right but curves sharply up on the left over the eyelid and part of the side of his head, another concealed across his throat by his mane, one deep and straight one on his lower left leg and a row of smaller scars on his hips.

Mutations accent: Podrem has a long, fluffy, wispy mane that touches the ground when he is still and looking down. Extrasensory: Podrem's senses of hearing, smell, taste, and at very short range vision are increased. Touch is also heightened, meaning that he is also very susceptible to pain. He seems to be able to sense motion around him even though he is very nearsighted.

Personality

Likes: bone and antler decor, rotting things, dead things, water, jokes, laughing, well-played pranks..
Dislikes: those who disrespect the dead, being sad, seeing pups who are sad..
Strengths: He does not fear death but does make an effort to evade it. In his age he has acquired much wisdom. He is incredibly perceptive of his surroundings. He is incredibly easygoing and funloving.
Weaknesses: He is untrustworthy and lies habitually. He has a habit of withholding information for largely superficial goals. He is very nearsighted. His mane creates problems with heat in summer and tangles when left damp..
Fears: illness, paralysis, immortality..

Alignment Neutral

A very strange wolf of very strange motives who does very strange things. Podrem is fond of dead things, for one. He is not necrophiliac but one might think so with how he treats the dead. He respects death and those who have passed on greatly, although he fears the former. He aspires to keep himself alive long enough to understand the nature of death but so far failing, he obsesses over it. He is a bit eccentric, flip-flopping on his views on nearly everything, and he is not good at keeping his word, or remembering it, for that matter. He excuses his actions as attributed to his age, but his mind, while not what one would call sound, is undamaged. He loves laughter, as much so he loves sharing a good joke. He believes in a heaven, a separate utopia or hell respective to the wishes or fears of each individual, for if there is no afterlife, he still wishes, as a carnivore, to believe in it for his own sake. He insists that for him, heaven is a bit of an in-joke, and thus all he really ever wants from anyone is, likewise, a good laugh. He is a bit of a sucker for cute kids and especially orphan pups who are last of a litter. He is protective of them sometimes, and would scarcely ever think of harming one.
